Mapping cloud forests allows you to view, edit and add to a database of cloud forest points.

To use :

1. Zoom and pan to your area of interest and look at the cloud forest points represented by red and green tree symbols. If you wish to edit or add to the database pan until the white crosshair in the centre of the map overlies the point at which you know the cloudforest exists. When you stop movong a red crosshair will re-centre on top of the white crosshair. Click this to access a screen in which you can submit details to the database. These will then appear immediately in the edited database. If you want to comment on an existing data point add your new point on top of the old.

2. Alternatively, type the place or coordinate you wish to visit and click the "go to location" button or choose from the list of locations given and click the "go to choice" button.

3. Wait for the status bar at the base of the browser to indicate that all data have been downloaded and drag the map to view the distribution of cloudforests.
