D 1.4.2.4 Report on comparison of fine (based on PATTERN model) and coarse scale (based on PESERA model) approaches to land condition modelling.  The report will cover both conceptual and empirical differences, with recommendations for increasing convergence of forecasts (with WP1.4.1) .

D 1.4.2.5 Working paper outlining the relative roles of climate and LUS in driving fine scale desertification in the ROSELT sites and outlining the correspondence between fine scale desertification processes and the RS- and ground-observable indicators from (1.3) and (1.5.2) for improved determination of causal process from desertification surveillance indicators.
